Merit Instruments 7-Year Warranty

Warranty Coverage: Merit Instruments ("Merit") warrants that its pressure gauges, thermometers, and related accessories ("Products") are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of seven (7) years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser ("Warranty Period").
Warranty Benefits: During the Warranty Period, if a manufacturing defect arises in the Product and a valid claim is received by Merit, Merit will, at its sole discretion, either repair the Product or replace it with a new or reconditioned Product of equal or greater functionality. In the event that Merit is unable to repair or replace the Product, Merit will issue a refund equal to the purchase price of the Product.
Warranty Conditions:

Proof of Purchase: The original purchaser must provide proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or invoice, to claim warranty benefits.

Applicability: This warranty is valid only for Products purchased directly from Merit Instruments or its authorized dealers and is non-transferable.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect, improper installation, unauthorized repairs, alterations, or acts of nature.

Maintenance: The Product must be maintained and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and guidelines.

Global Validity: This warranty is valid globally, and warranty claims may be made from anywhere in the world, subject to the conditions mentioned herein.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Merit's liability for any claim under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the Product. Merit shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Product.
Governing Law:
This warranty is governed by the laws of The United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Entire Agreement:
This warranty constitutes the entire agreement between the original purchaser and Merit Instruments and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
